It is the final week. Final exams, finals projects...What a fuck up!

The worse is, I become a house-hunter and roommate-hunter now...

My current roommate is getting married, good for her, but I have to move, 5555.

Heaven forbid!

 

April 6th is the birthday of my Alma Mater --- XMU. It is 85 years old this year. There are a series of celebriative activities there days, including a big live show. Many famous singers and movie stars come and play. Holy Cow!!! (Guys in XM, tell me some more details about the ceremony!!! Thanks la)

 

When I was a sophermore, we also celebrated the 80th anniversary of the founding of XMU. I remember we had a banquet for all the students. There were so many hungry students that many dishes emptied in 2 minutes and I even had no chance to see clearly what were they.

How time flies, 5 years have passed. How young we were then... 

 

April 6th is another person's birthday. I don't like to remember, but it is hard to forget as it is the same day of XMU's birthday. Anyway, happy birthday to him.

 

                                                                            

 

 

Just heard from my mother, my sister (to be more specific/ actually, my cousin) will get married next week. Congratulations to her!

 

My sister is 3 years older than me, we graduated from the same middle school, same high school and same university. But she did everything much better than me. She is very pretty and smart. She can play violin very well, she is good at almost all kinds of sports, she was always the top student in school. Everybody likes her very much. She was kind of a model in my family. Sometimes I just could not help to wonder: Why I am not my sister? How would it be if I was my sister.

 

I have to admit that my sister's excellence once upset me a lot when I was young. But later on, I found how stupid I was. We have different lives. Why would I want to compare myself with her. I have an excellent sister, I should pound of her.

 

My sister got her master degree in ECE from NUS, and is now working as a Project Manager in Singapore. I have not seen her for a long time and I also have no chance to meet my brother-in-law. I believe he must be a nice guy. Hope they will have a happy marriage.
